Totally fell in love with this song the first time i heard part of its chorus on advertisement. Think it's so romantic and sweet. *sigh*  If a guy sings this to me, i think i'll be swept off my feet. Of course, it shouldn't be cause he read this post and neither should he make a mess of the song.  anyway, this songs just makes me feel ready to fall in love. haha. the crazy moments girls have.. madness.. but we're still going ahead with it i guess.. But no matter what, i know i wun lose my common sense despite being nonsensical at times. Yup!

Feels so occupied. Time just flies. And it feels like i've yet to do something substantial. hmmm.. But seriously, i've met with my choir clique, went for choir syf (MJCHOIR GOT GOLD!!!!! WOO~!), called up driving schools (only), attempted cycling (still struggling, i'm making a fool of myself), watched Phantom (totally rocked). most of the time i'm catching up on sleep. such a pig. oh well.

Things to do:

1. Settle choir concert.
2. Learn driving.
3. Meet up with more frens.
4. Think of games for orientation
5. Go for trial camp
6. Sort out my computer and laptop
7. Organise my photos and songs?
8. Blog???

ok. lotsa things to get moving on. Get on with it Joy.

Heard my hall mates talking about this survey which actually gave "u're complicated" and "not rational" as a conclusion to this survey she did. Interested to see whether i'll get the same conclusion, I tried it out. haha. And guess my results?

Food for thoughts

Was rather depressed for a long period of time. So much so that I couldn't breathe. But i got my thoughts sorted out in the end and cheered up. That's me.

Then, i thought, would it be best if i were to live my life in denial. If so, i wouldn't get depress or hurt easily cause i can just push the negative thoughts away from my head! This sounded attractive possibly due to great relief i got after sorting out my thoughts. I felt lighter, happier, more cheerful and less short-tempered. In short, i felt good. I felt good about myself, my friends, what's happening around me. I mean seriously, i'm JOY. How can such feelings not attract me??!

But, how can one possibly lead a life of denial. How can it be truly happy? Living in a world which possibly is full of cover-ups and deception, how can we lie to ourself when it is the only thing that can be true to ourself?! (In short, how can we not know when we're lying to ourselves? How can we choose to lie to ourself?!)

Thus, i came to a conclusion. That is, to be optimistic. To face reality and obstacles bravely and resolutely. I mean it is not easy that everything goes our way, but it should surely be easier to at least feel good about ourselves. Sometimes when things get out of control, we should just be happy and contented that at least things happened, at some point in time, we were happy with the times spent. It was not totally bad.

(Moral of story: Joy has participated in to many Research Participant Programme. Research Participant Programme: A component of the module PL1101E-Introduction to Psychology where students have to fulfill 6 hrs in studies conducted by honour students doing their research. In some of the studies, students would be required to fill up questionnaires concerning perceptions of everyday events which include their feelings, thoughts and actions. From this, we see that Joy has indeed been diligent. Not only does she reflect on her day or past month during the survey, she does it in her life too. GOOD FOR YOU!)
